DESCRIPTION

Transmitter for automotive in-car Wireless Charging and Industrial applications with low EMI constraints. The STEVAL-ISB028 is based on the STWBC controller, which integrates all the functions required to drive and monitor the Transmitter. STWBC-MC supports 3 coils to offer a wide charging area. The input supports a wide 12V input (from +5V to +16V). STWBC-MC implements the new Qi A34 topology, where a digital voltage regulator drives the half bridge inverter. STWBC-MC supports UART connectivity to a PC and thanks to the STEVAL-ISB028 graphical interface, it is possible to monitor the behavior of the transmitter in real-time. The STEVAL-ISB028 reference design provides a complete kit which includes the STWBC-MC, firmware, layout (based on cost-effective 2-layers PCB), graphical interfaces and tools.
